Donna McEachern taught at Cayuga Secondary School for many years and was adored by everyone there for her love of the arts and her ability to pass it on. This financial award was established by former students, friends, and family of Donna McEachern to continue her legacy of fostering a love of the performing arts and encouraging students from CSS to pursue post-secondary education.
Each year a graduating student at CSS is selected to receive a scholarship from this fund. Donors can continue to support this fund with generous donations in Donna's memory by choosing to designate their contribution to our Fund in her name.
The Caledonia Community Foundation is proud to manage the Neil Paul Bursary which helps to inspire the students in our community. Neil Paul was a loved English teacher in both the Cayuga and Caledonia Secondary Schools. He was known for inspiring his students through literature and encouraging them to speak up about issues they were passionate about. This financial award is now given to a graduating student from McKinnon Park S.S. who embodies Mr. Paul’s love of language and the arts and who also shows the great patience he exemplified.
We encourage you to donate towards this award by using the link below and selecting “Neil Paul Bursary” from the drop down menu. Every little bit helps to keep the legacy of Neil Paul alive in our students.
