With a passion for the community combined with her financial and non-profit sector experience, Julie is one of our founding Directors. Her financial expertise as a Chartered Professional Accountant pulls together an important aspect of The Foundation’s work. As the owner of her own firm, Julie A. Henning CPA,CA, Julie is proud to be voted Caledonia’s favourite Accountant and Tax Preparer each year in The Sachem and Glanbrook Gazette’s Readers Choice Awards. Moving to Caledonia in 1990, she enjoys being actively involved in the community – literally. “What I love about Caledonia the most is the numerous opportunities for events and activities in the community – the community has proven to be a close knit group that rallies together when a good cause or event comes along and with the river and trails, the number of groups that get together to ride bikes, run, fish or even walk are amazing!”.
