Each year the Caledonia Community Foundation awards a scholarship to a McKinnon Park grade 12 student attending a University Level business program in the fall to recognize their academic excellence and community involvement .
2019 Recipient: Eric Ince
Eric Ince was rewarded for his above average marks and volunteer hours during his high school career. September will see him starting the Honours Bachelors of Commerce degree in Accounting with a Co op program and French immersion at the University of Ottawa. The program will take 4 and a half years. It is a specialized version of the regular Honours Bachelors of Commerce program with a specialization in accounting. His third will provide him with work experience in accounting firms partnered with the university. If that wasn’t enough, he chose the French Immersion option which means that 40% of his classes will be in French.
Eric, we are proud to support yet another ambitious Caledonia youth & offer you this award for 2019 and wish you true success in your business studies.
